This is exactly what it is. It's a cheap, convenient place to go eat. Sometimes that is appropriate.

That fountain is a good idea. But instead of being chocolate it needs to be Ebola.

Exactly. You don't go to Chili's on date night (unless you're like 17) or to celebrate any special occasions. But there is nothing wrong with going to chain joint like Chili's if it's just a normal day to day outing.

People have lost their damn minds on this "is (fill in the blank) trashy?" bullshite. It reminds me of a munch of snobbish 14 year old girls who think it makes them cool to try and look down on everyone else.

People start "is it trashy" threads to troll. But the discussion isn't about trashiness, it's about who prefers what.

I think the fact that someone wants to eat at Chili's is just as valid as someone who doesn't want to eat at Chili's. I don't, but who cares if someone does?

A chocolate fountain on their buffet line is trashy? You're one of these types aren't you?

Chilis To Go in the airport is where it's at. 2 for 1 margaritas all the time and if you ask for a to go cup you can bring your margarita on the plane.

Not trashy, but Chili's has shitty, boring food. Chains in general are usually terrible, with a couple of notable exceptions.

I didn't know that about the airport. This will be my new favorite spot.

You really don't think a diabetes fountain next to the "roast beef" and krab salad is trashy?

actually they would look like sweaty Mexicans as my normal lunch spot is a tacqueria

but yeah, it also gets its fair share of hipsters

I'd rather hipsters than some dude in a tanktop and Crocs

Depends on the situation.
For Lunch- Not Trashy
Because it's close to your hotel while away from home- Not Trashy
First Date (or any date)- Trashy
Business Dinner- Trashy
Dinner with kids- Not Trashy (The nice places hate when you bring kids)

looks like a nice guy to me. he probably already gave the flannel shirt off his back to someone he didn't even know, and that's why he's walking around in his undershirt. he probably wouldn't even wear such a small, tight shirt normally.

beers...books...one guy in a tie who looks like he just got off of work. they look like education is important to them, but they still know how to cut loose. what's the problem?
