I guess the Android app is better than the Overdrive website. I find the website very user UNFRIENDLY. Mentioned it to a library worker and he agreed with me but then said all libraries use Overdrive--as if this justifies the lack of user friendliness.
For what we pay for the library in EBR, I expect a better user interface on the website.
Then again, could be a "design feature" for the library: if taxpayers don't use the library, reduces operating expenses.

I've never used the fire department services. I think I shouldn't fund that either. Let people organize a fire prevention force on their own.

I have long said the fire department should be a fee-per-transaction service. I'll pay them gladly when they come to my house to put out a fire.

They are about to give back about a $5MM donation of land, infrastructure and design only so they can go spend another $5MM on different land, infrastructure and design fees.

Yea it's clunky as frick but when you figure it out and get it working good (searching and checking out books), the cool factor seeps in as you lay in bed at night.

People can bitch about EBR but the Library, BREC and most of DPW are well worth the taxes allotted.
