My family wouldn't decide what they wanted to eat. I chose ribeyes and all the sides. They complain and try to change it.
They literally complained about free steak. I told them to cook whatever their damn self and I will just get drunk.

I have banned in-laws for my family get together. I tired of watching one of my in-laws trying to bring attention to himself every time one of my grand-kids opened a gift. I don't like people who have to constantly feel the need to be the center of attention. They can celebrate with one of their others kids family. Doesn't sit well with my wife but enough is enough.

My wife thinks her aunt needs to spend the night along with her two dogs so she invited them without consulting me... I'm okay with hosting a dinner, but I'm not running a fricking bed and breakfast/doggy daycare here.
So far that's the only shite that I've had to deal with.

Just the usual bullshite of trying to make plans to fit everyones schedules and it becomes this huge ordeal and shitshow. Thats the one part of any holiday that I absolutely hate with a passion, trying to figure out plans.
We're just not putting our kids through the same bullshite I did as a kid of rushing around going from house to house. THAT is the shite that ruins Christmas bc the kids dont get to enjoy anything since they are traveling all damn day. You want to see us or the kids on Christmas? You are welcome to come over. If not, see you on another day.

What was the story from years past about the baw who was playing Christmas music for the family via WiFi and went off to take a dump/watch pron and the pron was broadcast via WiFi to the assembled family?
