Way to move the target retard. That has zero to do with the op, or your comment or my reply.

I have a bunch of E-go tools and love them.

Chain saw and pole saw
Blower
Weed eater
Mower

Everytime I wanted to pick up a new tool, I waited until they ran a deal where the battery came with.

For OP, I was surprised at how long the battery last when using the pole saw. I can throw it in the side by side and ride all around the deer camp cleaning up stands and not run out of battery

You should get a minimum of 800 charges, but Li ion batteries do take some care and feeding to get the most out of them just like an ICE engine but doing it for batteries just takes less effort. I am not surprised yours are still functional after 7 years if you treated them correctly.

It is helpful to include battery capacities when making that sort of statement.

I didn’t include it because they were the same. Both 2ah.

Greenworks for the win!
Key to any battery powered tool is don't go less than EGO's 56 volt. Stick to one voltage in your series of tools so you can add to your collection and have batteries interchangeable.
I've had a push mower 4 years now and would not consider returning to gas. Along with that a matching 60volt weedeater, blower, and a recent 18" chainsaw. Can't say enough about the entire series.
We have an acre in which I also have a Husqvarna riding mower. The Greenworks finished cut is far superior. You don't need a self propelled mower with battery power. No engine makes them light. Greenworks also has a steel deck on their mowers and is far more reasonably priced.

I have a suite of them and I love them.

Mower, blower, edger, hedge trimmer, line trimmer, etc.

They do everything I need, are light weight and quiet and I don't have to worry about gas and oil.

They are well made too, haven't had any problems with them.

For anyone with a small to medium sized yard, I would definitely recommend them.

The only people who may not want them are people with really big yards or who have a lot of heavy duty landscaping regularly. If you can't dot he whole yard on a single battery that's gonna get annoying fast.

I’m in year 5 of going totally electric with the Kobalt series from Lowe’s. Two weeks ago I had to purchase my first replacement battery. I’ve got the mower, hedge trimmer, weed trimmer, pole saw and leaf blower.

They get a workout for sure. I have a lawnmower with a 7.5, a couple 5.0s and several 2.5s which I use in string trimmers. Blower. Chainsaw, tree pruner and hedge trimmer.

I love the one battery fits all system.

Chainsaw=gas

The electrics also much more dangerous.

If you are just looking for a trimmer then electric ok. Actual cutting should still be gas.

is not that cut and dry. I'm not felling 100' loblolly pines with mine and ego chainsaw couldn't be any easier to pull out to clean up small trees that fell and need cut up. A little chain oil is about all you need
