The real reason he didn't want his name mentioned is because no self respecting officer wants to be shamed for going into a donut establishment.

I say this because my dad and brother are both law enforcement and neither one will set foot in a donut place wearing their uniform.

This is the new thing. Cops playing the victim card and trying to get fast food workers fired for dissent.

Throw in their recipe for cake donuts and it's a winning combination. Plus they have great perks with their app, and even greater perks when you have the app and card. $1 for any size coffee? Yes please!

OP gave you guys half the story

DD IMMEDIATELY corrected the situation and apologized.

Article

Dunkin' Donuts said Tuesday that it will work with store owners and employees across the country "to reinforce our obligation to serve all of our guests with dignity and respect" after two incidents in which police officers complained they were mistreated.

Dunkin' Donuts initially reacted over the weekend, calling the incidents isolated and noting that both franchise owners had apologized.

On Tuesday, as some customers threatened a boycott on social media, the company issued an updated statement that said "two young crew members exhibited poor judgment while serving local police officers who were guests in our restaurants."

Except I have the majority of the nation on my side and you don't. So who's the strange one now?

You don't make any sense.

If only you made something of your posts on TD...perhaps you'd know how to contribute something good on here...but I digress.

Dunkin is better than Starbucks, especially their beans for in-home brewing. I honestly don't go to any of them though, considering that it costs around $5 per cup these days.

Like I said in another post...you can get any size coffee for $0.99 by using perks from the Dunkin' Donuts card and app.

That would be worth it if there was one nearer to me. Closest one since I moved is about 10-15 miles away.

I agree. That's the only downside of Dunkin' Donuts for us. They're spread quite a ways. You'd think there'd be more in the DFW, but there isn't.

In BR I lived about 3 miles from one. So if I happened to wake up early when it was still dark out before any of the Baton Rouge traffic...I'd make my way over there to start my day.

Just for the record, a large coffee from either is like 2.50. People always throw out the $5.00 figure, which is accurate for a macchiato or something, but regular coffee from either isn't that absurd.

No. It's spelled right. They went from the angle in the 'v' to the top right then drew the 'e' directly off of that.
