It doesn't matter...this entire state has the highest concentration of stupid people I have ever experienced. I am a native and have also lived in 5 other states. In all fairness I have never lived in Mississippi or Alabama so I am not saying Louisiana is the stupidest in the nation, but it is at the bottom of the barrel and I can't wait to get somewhere I can have an intelligent conversation again.

Not sure how dumb they are, but the tri parish area of the state is the trashiest with the most amount of women that are obese.
Also the highest number of women with leg tats, tank tops, and jorts anywhere on earth.

This. One trip to their wal mart or one of the yearly parades for the festival or something and you can tell it should be on the list.
ETA: Just by proximity to Eunice and Opelousas, VP should be on the list. Those 3 cities form a Bermuda Triangle of stupid that should be tough to rival.
Lots of good, smart people in all 3 places, but the majority of people that live in these cities are somewhere between "disabled" and Forrest Gump
