I don’t care what the laws are, but do I know those laws are BS. The law shouldn’t be able to stop anyone for no other reason than, just trying to catch someone.

Not legal under WA or OR state constitution.

Good demographics and zero checkpoints makes dealing with libs a bit easier.

Yeah, uhh no. Whether you actually committed a crime has nothing to do with whether or not an officer has reasonable suspicion or probable cause to investigate and thus demand ID.

BS, so the officer of the sate can just come at anyone because of a badge? It might have have worked in NY but that doesn’t mean it was right. Stop and frisk, or DUI checkpoints, it doesn’t matter, all the same in my book.

They used to post the arrests made and it was always something stupid like, stopped 300 cars and made 5 arrests, one for drunk driving, and 4 for driving without a license

And that’s probably 5 more arrests than most jurisdictions get in a year. My part of town would often advertise they are having one on the radio, they didn’t have to mention any specifics other than there would be one in the parish/county. But, they would rotate the same 4 spots and all 4 spots can be seen from miles away, especially w the big arse RV w the lights going. They always started setting up around 6pm and would run them from 8-2.

No such thing as a good cop. Good person but cops aren't there to serve the public. They're there to tax the citizens. They really aren't needed especially nowadays since they don't do shite. Waste of employment by the government. Let's go back to the old west of handling things.

I would like to see a comparison of support for these checkpoints and “stop and frisk.”

Both violate the constitution but stop and frisk wasted less resources
