Should have put it in Braille since he obviously couldn’t read. No seriously he probably can’t read.

No one is saying that, but whats the point of a gun free zone?

In all fairness if it wasn’t a gun free zone this guy wouldn’t have been arrested.

You are the very problem with society... Don't worry, someone criminal you were trying to protect will come along one day and give you or a family member the taste of "paper protection" that was supposed to keep you safe.

, I'm what's wrong with society, not the criminal you hope will come along give my family a taste of something?

Right...

In all fairness a guy like this would have no problem, and would be much more likely to need to, using a gun like that in public place.

Good guy with gun is > bad guy with gun.

Hasn't stopped everyone, so clearly it's not working.

That same ignorant logic is used when people say gun free zones don't work - you simply don't know what they may be stopping.

ETA - as I mentioned later in the thread, there are reasonable arguments against gun free zones that don't start with breaking the law/policy means the law/policy is useless.

Exactly, you are. Your evil thought process of not allowing law abiding citizens to retain rights while allowing the lawless to continue to do as they may with weak punishments in the judicial system...yes, you are the voting problem of crying about your environment while enabling the problems.

Yeah that's the distinction. If you bring a gun into a private establishment that forbids it, the crime is trespassing, not illegal possession of a gun. Some people are having trouble with the difference between banning guns in public areas vs the individual choices of private establishments.

What?

I haven't proposed taking your rights nor have I supported weak punishments on crime.

It’s a private company that rightfully sees an issue with good guys and bad guys carrying in a dark loud theater that serves alcohol where even trained professionals would have a problem identifying a threat and hitting their target.

If you have a problem with that then don’t go to the movie theater or risk getting arrested if you leave your gun in plain sight.

I didn't realize that you are a supporter of capital punishment, un-infringed gun ownership, no national registry, the right to carry concealed or open? Is this all true?

I think straight up creating an argument he didn't make is worse for society that his posts.

That's some fake news.

I agree. I don't understand how he did not see the sign and not put the gun back in his car before entering the theater.

We both know you don't...and we both know that you are against the second amendment. But I will leave you to your discretion, since you won't say which way your support falls on the issue, lol.

You can bring a handgun in a movie theater if you have your concealed carry permit? I didn't realize that.

Wondering if he had it in his lap waiting for someone he knew he was planning to use it on? Or, were his pants too tight that he feared keeping it in his pocket while sitting might cause the gun to fire hitting himself? Crazy
