Apparently they have put their label on some wine from California.
Doesn't this violate their message/political beliefs?
I know there are a lot of DD fans here (saw hundreds of truck decals last time I was in Baton Rouge).
How is this not hypocritical? What am I missing?
Obligatory

Because it's shitty wine. After a sip no one will drink it.

Down votes for being factual. I love you TD
They believe in one thing and that's their paycheck

Does this mean they shouldn't sell duck calls to California or any other blue state? That's poor business.

Which message?
I'm not defending selling shitty wine, but what message are they violating?

Phil is (and was) pretty hardcore Church of Christ. The rest of the family though, I don't know.

how is it hypocritical? Are they not allowed to make money? If they choose to put their label on wine does that mean they have to drink it?

Which message?
Many evangelical Christians believe the consumption of alcohol to be a sin. Phil Robertson is a super conservative Christian who would seemingly be against alcohol

Wasn't wine served at the last supper?

It's the beauty of Christianity - the bible is so ambigous you can justify about any action one way or another.
If there is a part in the bible you like - it's literal.
If there is a part you don't like - you rationalize it away by looking at the "context" or saying the original word meant something differnet in another language.
