Walked away unassisted. There is a saying that I can't find right away, about the worse the accident looks at Indy the better the chance for driver. The deadly ones never look that bad.

A lot of times all that flipping and bouncing around the car does is bleeding off energy. When a car hits and doesn't really bounce back off a wall there is a lot of force exerted on the body inside. Like what happened to Earnhardt wreck did not look that bad. When a car is going 200 mph and just stops all your internal organs are still going 200 mph when they contact your bone structure or your neck trying to stop the weight of that helmet going forward.

Dixon's interview like 5 minutes after was pretty great. "Yeah a little beat up you know. You just gotta hold on to the steering wheel." I'm paraphrasing but it was pretty amazing
