Sounds like a contract in waiting for a black trans female owned company.

Because the workers are concerned with cutting the grass as quickly as possible.

It really is disheartening the amount of trash on the side of the road. If you've ever heard those mowers when they cut, it sounds like a fire fight or something. They just run over all the shite and keep moving.

It’s everywhere and when I mean everywhere like no more than two or 3 feet worth of grass without trash lined up

Prairieville/Gonzales can't wait to be like EBR. Gets worse every day. The list of bungled opportunities, old money back room deals, mismanagement, overdue projects, and poor city planning is getting very long.

It's not inmates, it's people who have been given community service. In LP, unless you are disabled in some way, your community service WILL BE trash pick up, even women.

The amount of people that throw shite out of the vehicles while driving down the road just boggles my mind. Why is it so hard to leave your empty cup or bottle in the cup holder and throw it out when you get to a trash can. Plus the shite that flies out of those roll off dumpsters and garbage trucks is unreal.

The priority just isn’t there here in Ascension Parish. I haven’t quite formulated my opinion on Clint Cointment in AP yet but so far, my initial perception is that Cointment is all about appearance of good intentions but not much else. Yes, he blasts his orders to open all pumps before heavy rain threats all over social media and pounds his chest but I still see litter EVERYWHERE across the Parish, clogging ditches and making its way into canals. Flash flooding in the parish won’t stop until the Parish gets serious about cleaning litter.

Don’t forget the people that throw everything in the back of their truck and have everything fly out as soon as they give it the gas.

There's a ditch on my families old property. When I was little that ditch was at least 8-10' deep now that ditch probably isn't 2-3' deep and it hasn't been cleaned out since I was in elementary school and I'm 50 now. There's a lot of work needs to be done with the ditches and canals in Ascension parish.

Once you cross into St George there is no grass, highways are paved with gold

The back of my property bumps against Jefferson Highway. The amount of beer bottles, dip cans, and other things I have to pick up before mowing is infuriating.

Did y'all see the "DOTD" display at the corner of old perkins and airline?

They have these large chicken wire DOTD letters filled with trash picked up along airline.
