I'd argue that law applies to hotels and such. I'd think an independent single-tenant structure like a cabin would fall under a different category.

It's in a private cabin, so I don't see what the problem is. Are you afraid the police are going to bust down the door to arrest you?

Just share the damn beer with your boy.
Ignore these assholes preaching. Their kids are probably doing some nice LP meth as I type this

Are you really not going to let the boy have a beer because of that "law"? Do you always fallow the law so strictly? Never make a rolling stop? Never go 61 in a 60?

Come on guy... share a cold one with him. Have a good father-son moment.

Just phoned in to police to be on lookout for good ol baw in a purple truck buying booze for underage kids. Truck will possibly have nuts

Seriously though....its a little trashy, not gonna lie...but its America dude. If you wanna buy your boy a beer, go buy him one. No one is gonna bother you in a cabin, just dont give him beer at a bar.

Typing on my phone while watching a game at the Box. Forgive me if between my fat fingers, predictive text, and distractions I let a word slip through (especially one that on a quick glance has the same shape as the word I intend to type).

Your 18 year old is already drinking without you. Being 18 at the cabin is not a big deal.

Jesus. He's 18. The law says private residence and I was wondering if that extended to a cabin. Him and I are going on a trip this summer and I was just curious

If it were illegal, you wouldn't have a beer with your kid in the cabin anyway?

Forking retarded an 18 year old can't drink with his father legally in a cabin. vast majority of countries wouldn't give a shite.

No. I have no problem giving him a beer. He's not a big drinker. Just thought it would be nice to know the law. Don't see the problem with that.

Share a fat blunt or brownie with your child. It's great for bonding.

If drinking the occasional beer with your underage 18-20 year old son makes you a bad person, then my dad is a total a-hole.
