No you are not developing a problem. I travel and head out all the time by myself to grab a few beers and a bite to eat. Cannot hang in a hotel room.
Wife was in Italy for a week and I went out a couple of times to my favorite watering hole and had a couple and did takeout.
Don't think to much. Good luck going forward.

Do you drink a lot? If the answer is no, then you don't have a problem. If the answer is yes, than stop being a dumbass.

drinking at home is probably cheaper and you can't catch a vd from your hand, so stay at home next time

I do it all the time on the road. It's nice to decide whether you want to talk to someone or not. There is always someone to chat with if you want, but there is not pressure.
