Dr. Anthony Fauci, the National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) director, said Americans should never shake hands again, in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus and other diseases.
The leading infectious disease expert on President Donald Trump's coronavirus task force told the Wall Street Journal that an end to handshaking would be good for reducing future transmissions of the novel coronavirus and would also cut the number of influenza cases.

If this dude knew the places I'd stick my face on a beautiful womans body, he'd realize the germs on her hands don't really concern me

traditions change to reflect the times.
toasting became a tradition in the middle ages to make sure that the mead sloshed into each others cups, so that if one cup was poisoned, both cups were poisoned.
hi-fives weren't a thing in the 1800s.
fist bumps weren't the norm until the 90s.
would it be such a big deal?

How are panhandlers making out right now? Not enough traffic. No one wants to touch. Maybe they are taking up new trades like vehicle break ins.

Great idea! - while we're at it, let's do away with door handles, railings, faucet handles, surfaces of any kind, public breathable air, chairs, hospitality services of any kind, planes, trains, automobiles, team sports, retail, currency, credit cards, libraries, key boards, musical instruments, etc., etc., etc....
