This. My ol lady...she does a lot to keep family life moving and flowing smoothly. Many things that I cannot do or cant do as well. But she knows, understands, and wants me to be the leader of our family.

How about not worrying about how other people live their lives and raise their family?

If you really want to change shite get into politics. If not then shut the frick up and quit bitching about other people on social media.

The destruction of the family unit causes people to turn against God.

Notice in almost every commercial the father is portrayed as an idiot needing the guidance of his wife and children.

You know who I blame for this? Baby boomers. They're the ones that kick started this whole man bashing fad that we see today.

Leadership is tough. Some kids get it naturally - whether or not they're athletically or academically gifted in school. Some kids rise to it, often through participation in sports, scouting, etc. Others develop it later through military service or on their jobs.

Society doesn't seem to value it any longer. Acquiescence and passivity seem to be the order of the day and that isn't a great environment to develop leaders. It's a cycle that we'll likely see repeated.

Baby boomers are literally to blame for every problem.

I wouldn't go that far with it. There's people to blame in every generation. I blame the boomers for the social and family destruction of America, I blame their parent's generation for the economic and political destruction of America, I blame Generation X for the religious destruction of America and now we're seeing the fruits of all that destruction come to light with my generation.

Damn shame.

Men can't be men anymore.

Women want to be the boss of the house and are the first to yell domestic violence when a man steps up and be a man.

Call me old school, but the house needs to be lead by men.

I'm always fussing at my son about jumping off the bed, running into puddles and climbing stuff because I don't want him to get seriously hurt.

But he does it anyway, and I want him to.

I like how dads are always emasculated or made to be dopey caricatures in every commercial.

The UK just banned those types of commercials a month or so back.

Some don't even want their sons to play football anymore. We are failing to teach our boys how to be men.

My son came home from high school one day and said he had to jump start another student's truck in the parking lot. Other student was a high school senior male driving a lifted truck w the standard outdoor stickers in the back window. My son said when handed him the jumper cables, the guy asked what they were.

I told my son he should have just taken the jumper cables back, got in his truck, and drove off. But he's a better person than me, so he taught the guy how to jump start a vehicle.
