When texting, emailing, or posting, (informal writing) is it a douche move to point out that the double entendre you used was intentional? Or is it like calling your shot?

This dude at the office is a nice guy and relatively funny. He likes to put little jokes in his emails. If he uses a double entendre, he will often type (double entendre intentional). Is he calling his shot for the slow witted, or just being a douche?

Eminem does this all the time is his bars but doesn't have to call his shots

It's better if it doesn't have to be explained

A secretary brought king cake and sent an email to let everyone know. He replied "Thanks xxxx, that's sweet! (Double entendre intended)"

Is this "dude" in high school? The office is for working, not super happy funny joke time.

He should be throat punched for the non-sexualized usage of the phrase "Double entendre"

It's not funny if you have to explain it

This. A double entendres is sexual or at least risqué in nature.
