This reminds me of Ray Nagin who fled the city post-Katrina and purchased a home in North Texas- In Frisco, I believe while NOLA was a hot mess.

Evidently, they had made no official request for assistance.
You cannot simply scream help. There are channels for federal assistance and you have to make specific requests.
The bitch wanted the national podium and not the help.
