I just avoid places that require them. I live in one town where you are required in businesses but I'm close to another small town that doesn't require masks everywhere. I have just been shopping and going to the gym in the town that doesn't require masks. I'm not going to yell at someone who works a service job. Dealing with the general public sucks enough without me piling on.

Saw this in the gym locker room this morning. Massive bodybuilder white alpha-male struts in shouting on his ear-phone, how he walked past the attendant as he asked him to put on a mask while he was in the entrance-way, and how his next step was to get his lawyers involved.

The high-end gym that this A-lister, alpha dog, major player was in? Planet Fitness.

I'm imagining this in my head and douche level is off the charts. I really hate those type people.

A short while back a story was posted here about a LA/Studio City taco place that closed because their employees were being harassed about masks...this place acted like it was all made up and couldn't possibly happen.

I think most posters were saying that was just a convenient excuse to close and the business had other issues.

Yelling at employees for enforcing company policies is terrible though.

On the flip side some old dude yelled at me today for not wearing a mask in the parking lot

Masks are probably popular on California. They’re proponents of government intervention in seemingly every facet of their lives.

That’s why the Taco story came across as fake.

Couldn’t agree more. People have a job to do and we are taking about private business to begin with and if they require it... wear it for fricks sake and leave the poor lower paid employees out of it

I agree no need to verbally abuse low wage workers. However, nothing wrong with telling them no and that they are losing business due to the mayor. This at least lets the business know they need to protest the mayor.

I get the fight against masks in public spaces, but the people giving hourly employees shite for the rules that their bosses are making are venturing into Sovereign Citizen level of annoying.

I simply don’t patronize businesses that require mask wearing.
