Just bulldoze the colleges at this point. States shouldn’t be subsiding this. If your little girl wants to die like a prostitute, let her do it on her own dime.

There’s a huge difference between “Take this in case in someone tries to rape you in the park” and “ Take this for when you let those boys run through you at the rave”.

My kid will know how to obtain Narcan if that’s what they believe they need.

If you need Narcan and don't have it it's already too late.

Which is the point of having it already.

Like an EpiPen
Or a fire suppressant

I’m not giving mine Narcan to save other lives. That’s not their burden.

It certainly will be when they watch a friend die and can’t save them. That’s their burden for life, thanks dad!

Why wouldn’t you send things like this with them? Better to have and not need than need and not have. It may not be for my son, but maybe someone at a party he is having needs it?

Why would they be watching that? Did you send a gun with yours? Why not? You just going to have their friend bleed out because your kid couldn’t shoot back?

I thought OP said whatever they take after sex the next day? Might be wrong on that.

Because the reality is that happens. You can live in a fantasy world or accept the one we have.

It happens if you live in that world. You’re naive if you always think your kid will have it on them every place they go to save their buddy.

How hard is it to have one in their vehicle and one at their residence

It's little different than a fire extinguisher

It’s not hard. But people at college are often not near either. The solution is carry all the time on you. Some will, but we know for most this isn’t reality. Regardless, I’m not sending my kid to school and telling them it’s in any way their responsibility to save people from drugs.

Did you even attend college yourself? Attend a college party?

Talk about calling folks naive.

Yes to the first. No to parties. I stayed away from where I might need to save a life. What was naive about me saying they likely won’t have the Narcan on them everywhere?

“We had it tough back then but we were so much more independent in the 80s-90s!

“We will monitor every move our children make via their phone and give them a stash of narcan and plan B”
