Once she realized my paycheck wasn’t going to the joint account, she got pissed. And I straight out told her that I’m not busting my arse out here in this hazardous environment while you sit behind a desk all day. For you to take MY money and go spend it on bullshite......
She was mad for about 2 weeks but got over it.
Moral of the story, the more they see, the more they spend.

My current gf, great as she is, has a shopping problem. She went in dollar general the other day for one item and walked out with 70 dollars worth of useless crap.
She will never, if we got married, have access to my bank account. She is good at paying her bills and very successful at her job, but any extra money she has she will waste.

At the beginning of the year we had an agreement, I would pay rent, $1150, all she had to pay was electric, car insurance, and internet. 2 or three months later she tells me she can't pay electric because she wasn't making enough money at work, I said ok I will pay it, come to find out about a month ago, she had racked up about $12000 of credit card debt over the course of last year. The credit cards are hers so it's not my money, but still, lying to me about not being able to pay bills just so I can pick them up, and she can charge more shite to her credit card, this shite is infuriating.
