I don’t get this.

Republican/ Trump followers claim the Left is scared and wants to shut everything down.
Trump is saying don’t be afraid and live your life.

I’m not afraid, but I surely don’t want to catch this or give it to someone who may have a more difficult time.

I say we live our lives, but be mindful that there is a very real virus out there that has killed over 200,000 Americans! Follow the guidelines set forth by Science and Medical professionals. This is what will allow us to keep from another lockdown.

The choice shouldn’t be “Shut it all down” or “act like nothing is wrong and carry on”.

Larger metropolitan areas may be forced to shut down for some time in the future. This country as a whole shouldn’t have to that. I live my life. I’m not scared. I am not ignorant and I care about others and this economy. I will continue to follow the simple guidelines until I have to. It’s the right thing to do.

My medically fragile father does stay home...but my mom and siblings HAVE to work and their work deals with the public. And they are doing all they can to avoid getting sick and bringing it home to my father. And at least knowing that masks are still required by those that enter the businesses they work for...puts me a little more at ease about them being at work.

But I guess in your eyes they are just being sheep for wearing a mask and keeping their distance from others(esp those not wearing a mask or ones not wearing them correctly)...trying to stay safe while still bring home a paycheck? Is that correct?

Trump just wore a huge mask leaving the hospital. Like really huge.

Did you watch a few seconds after that where at full salute his mouth was closed the entire time while breathing normally thru his nose for almost a minute?

I’m cautious about Covid, but I’m done letting it run my life. I wear the mask and social distance, but other than that I’m moving on with my life. The only thing I’m really concerned about is not spreading it to people who are elderly or have preexisting conditions like my mom does.
