This fricken 'newspaper' is trying hard to start a race war in SE Louisiana. The editor/publisher should be arrested for trying this. I dropped the subscription 3 years ago. Wish the Manships still owned it. Perhaps someone should put a bunch of skunks in their building overnight during the weekend.

But seriously the Advocate is aweful. I never went there for news much in the first place, but awhile back there was a link to an article and you had to become a subscriber to see it.
There is no way they could make more money as a subscriber sight as they could with advertisements on their website.
They will still get advertisers I am sure, but with less views they will not be able to charge as much.. Either way, yeah.. It sucks.

Paper Newspapers are on a death march. Subscriptions for those under 35 are basically nonexistent. The Boomers are keeping them on life support but that is a very temporary thing.
