Don is actually more of the calmer guys who exposes phonies with facts.
He busted a Canadian guy who claimed he was a seal. The mans excuse was that his deceased wife made him get tats and navy seal apparel. Yet he also had sf or army tats as well.

So now he's picking on the mentally ill. Shipley is such a loser

Don doesn't mind the whole gettin laid aspect.
He usually gets 20 requests each day about guy who legitimately used the navy seal in order to get jobs and other benefits.
It's not the same thing as the mentally disabled kid who was wearing an Air Force top, army hat and a wallet with a marine corp emblem on it. The kid was asked what his rank was and he said sniper. Or the homeless vet who had an ROTC patch but didn't have his veteran card.

Stolen valor also happens among active duty personnel.
There was a senior officer iirc who was busted bc he claimed he earned a Sapper tab but didn't. This was rather recent.
Can't wait for the first female to claim she was a ranger only for her to be found of stolen valor.

No but if you go around bragging that you are a US Navy Seal, and talking like a badass you'll meet Mr. Shipley guaranteed. You'd have a better chance of getting away with slapping a hells angels patch on your back than a SEAL trident if you didn't earn it.
Most of those valor thiefs seem to be mildly retarded or a few cards short of a full deck. If they are actually benefiting from it monitarily they should be called out, sure. Otherwise the exercise is just....toolish.

People normally email don about their suspicions. He's not worried about some person who may be autistic. He even busted a pedophile if I recall. In every video I have seen, don presents logical facts.
The worst stolen valor case is miles schoumake who was busted three times in two weeks.

If you really look at SEALs, most are wiry, thin dudes who can are strong as frick and can swim 10 miles or run 20 miles with ease.
When you show me a 265lb SEAL, you can bet that he's lying with 99% accuracy.

All of the SEALs I have ever met are 170-200lb, tops.

I met a couple who came to our med facility. They were not too tall or muscular but wirey. Anyways the small door that was built a week before that was completely destroyed by one of them.
Can't say I didn't blame them

You planning on providing an explanation for that or just hoping people believe you on face value?

Shipley only concerns himself with people lying about being SEALs. These guys are not mentally ill, they know exactly what they are doing and know it's wrong. I've never seen him get rough or even hot headed about confronting these guys. He's always calm and ask the people to just admit that they're lying and to stop. But usually these guys have invested too much bravado into their stories and truly it has to be really embarrassing to get called out, but it's the game they choose.
