Had the pleasure and privilege of encountering her in the Nashville airport about 30 years ago. Spent about 10 minutes chatting with her. Beautiful lady, inside and out. Very genuine person, with no pretensions about her celebrity.

My dad knew her before she was famous, right before she started with Porter Waggoner. Said she was just super nice, and she was beautiful in her younger years.

Q: What do you call the sweat between Dolly Parton's boobs?

When she named her theme park Dollywood, she knew what she was doing.
ETA: Her first major rollercoaster was named Thunderhead.

Is her husband the luckiest dude ever? He's been married to her for over five decades, she's one of the most famous people/singers on the planet (certainly in the country), she has a legacy that will last forever, she seems to be pretty genuinely liked by everyone, she's got endless money, etc....all while he pretty much stayed out of the spotlight completely.
Most people probably think he's lived off her earnings all this time, but he ran a very large and successful industrial contracting business until he retired not long ago.

Even at 76 I'd get it. It would be great to tell people I busted one on those tits

I’ve had her on a few flights, she’s either one of the nicest, most genuine people you’ll ever meet or the greatest actress in the world.

another liberal who pandered to conservatives for 5 decades became a multimillionaire and basically has shown her true colors now that it's the popular thing to do. frick that fake bitch.
quote:
In one corner, we have dozens of celebrities and companies paying millions of dollars for consultants, strategists, and publicists to stress over what changes to make in response to Black Lives Matter, in return burping out nonsensical boilerplate language to accompany the empty gesture. In the other, we have Dolly Parton: “Don’t be a dumbass.”
It echoes what she said about Black Lives Matter. “I understand people having to make themselves known and felt and seen. And of course Black lives matter. Do we think our little white asses are the only ones that matter? No!”
What I love about Dolly Parton is that everything about her that we hail as perfection is actually just being a human, one of Hollywood’s most endangered species.

She isn’t pandering, she is Tennessean. The political spectrum mixes a bit here. Where else would you find hardcore conservative people very much in favor of socialist programs like free college and our power generation network. She deeply cares for all people and her quote you posted is representative of that. Things like her imagination library have been a great addition to this state. She is a very genuine person and parts of her family I have had the pleasure of meeting have been representative of that.
