The doctors still have to find an "injury" & if there was no accident, what caused the injury? Back in the 90's, "plaintiff" surgeons were getting $25K a surgery with 3-4-5 surgeries a week on the books. Do the math. The doctors are just as bad as the plaintiff attys. except in many cases they were crippling patients for life. There was an orthopedic surgeon who made millions just by taking an ankle injury up to the knee, then up to the back. 3 major surgeries for the price of one "accident". And as corrupt as NOPD has been over the years, don't think bad cops weren't in on this scheme.

the doctors have to defend every medical decision they make either in depositions and/or court. it is not their responsibility to do determine if the accident is legit or not.

Don’t think that this engagement is limited to Orleans Parish or this lowbrow attorney. It’s happening all over, and the TV and Billboard lawyers all run similar schemes. Their McMansions and Law Offices with helipads don’t pay for themselves. Toe tapping is becoming a finally honed art. Watch in the rear view for distracted drivers in nice vehicles following a little too close, and it’s easy picking. Roll out of the car crying about your beck and nick hurting, have Dr. Plantz pick you up and make that one call to someone that will get it done or just wants to help. Like a well oiled machine, and the really good actors may get a future role in a TV commercial

Don’t know about indictments. At least three named as Attorney A, B, C as co-conspirators.

Looks like another pretty lame one. I thought after the one guy was murdered they’d start moving things forward more quickly but doesn’t seem like it so far.

They know exactly how to testify to avoid any scrutiny into their practices. There are doctors who know damn well the kind of lawyers who are sending them patients.

it still is not their business how accidents happen. they look at pathology after the accident and determine injury.
