my wife always says how cheesy he is every time she she his commercial....shes been to their house and have met him....I told her to decline if they ever invited us over

Good. He's mutual friends with some of my friends on Facebook and I will sometimes ask them about him and they all say he's a slimy cheeseball who doesn't know how to treat people, but they stay friends with him for "business" reasons.
I guess you have to do that if you are in the industry.
