Fasting is one of the best things you can do for your body. There is a study out there showing men increased their hgh by 20x and when up to 16x after just 24 hours of fasting. I try to do one meal a day intermittent fasting and it works well for me. I need to get back to doing a legit fast for a day or two.
You be better off working out, getting a lot of protein a healthy amount of fats and carbs and eating enough calories for whatever your goals are.

Both are great. You're not really better off choosing one over the other, they can be done in conjunction. Obviously you shouldn't go on 3 day fasts weekly.

Lose weight is 1 reason, but it also purges your body of weak cells that are susceptible to cancer. I used to do a 3 day fast every 3 months or so and 1 5 day fast a year. 3 days aren't so bad but 5 is tough for me. Water and black coffee.

Why ? To lose weight?
Yea bc those are the only benefits to fasting. If you don’t know shite then why comment?

Sugars stored in liver/ glycogen
Glycogen isn't sugar. Its a polysaccharide.
All sugars, like glucose, are carbohydrates. But not all carbohydrates, like glycogen, are sugars.
If you can't get the basic bio-chemistry/physiology right why should anyone trust your commentary?

Is that picture on the video the before or after of a three day fast?

Check out Dr. Jason Fung.
I've done several 5-6 day fasts. Days 1-2 are the most difficult. After that, it gets much easier.

See above. Glycogen isn't a sugar. Organic Chemistry 301 and Biochemistry 401.

Is it fasting or eating less / less frequent / lower bad calories over time moreso than fasting per se?

This guy is a chiropractor, not a doctor. DC means chiropractor.
As someone else said - listen to Jason Fung, MD, an actual doctor who has written books on the benefits of fasting for actual advice on the subject.

Why starve your body? Spiritual / Religion aside, design of human body and starving it makes no sense.
I’ve never done it, but I’m tempted. The reason is that fasting was a normal part of human existence until agriculture took over. And some medical experts think that fasting causes the metabolism to consume bad cells that could make you sick otherwise.

Yeah....and for HGH optimization and to help your gut and your body heal up by letting it take a break from digestion.
Make lifestyle changes.
