Met her through Rover and she is fantastic.
I’d guess if you meet people on somewhere like Rover you like you could book them directly in the future and both be better off.

Absolutely correct. We booked her through rover the first time. After that we just text her and pay her directly.

I use a sitter I found through Rover for 28.00 for day/38.00 overnight.
I take my dog to her house. The sitter is there with her all day, and there are other dogs too, so my dog gets to play. She’s really excited when she realizes where she’s going.
Find sitters near you, they’ll have all of their info-fenced yard, other dogs, at home all day, etc. and arrange a meeting with the sitter. The sitter will require this, to make sure that your dogs social skills are good.
She’s much happier at the sitter’s house.

We pay $75 a day for three dogs (one large and two small). We ask the sitter to walk them morning and evening, pick up the mail, and spend the night. Other than that they're free to live their life. We do ask that they not bring friends over.

Frankly when I was younger I did this for free occasionally when friends went out of town, but I have the feeling "how about $zero" will not be received well.
