Happened to a friend of mine last year, she spoke with some mail men in the areas she was looking and gave them her number if they turned up. Got a phone call the next day.

Glad you found your dogs
Years ago my pugs (I don't have them anymore..first pugs I owned) got loose while I was asleep during the day. Frantically searching the neighborhood when I get a call on my cell "you the owner of 2 smooshed face lil doggies?" Guy had called the number on their collars.
That is a horrible feeling when you realize they got out. You just feel sick with worry.
I'd be treating those pups to some extra cuddles and treats tonight. Great looking dogs
