I am sick of screaming babies on planes. That's what should be banned.

When untrained dogs are placed in situations where they are unsure of what to do then you have situations like the OP posted. If a dog is in an enclosed tube with a lot of strangers doing erratic shite then I don't blame the dog for freaking out.

However, the dumbarse owners should know better than to put their animal in that situation. Then when you consider the fact that their is no real reason to have this dog on the plane its an even shittier decision by the owner. In reality these people are selfish assholes and I wish that the dog would turn and maul the owner for being such a self righteous POS.

I did that too.

My dog now likes people WAY more than other dogs, but at least he's not aggressive

I still bring him everywhere I can, like my neighborhood bar has a dog friendly patio and he comes and chills under the table while I drink beers with friends

New Orleans was a great town to socialize a puppy. Mine does come to work with me. She just chills in the truck while I'm in the field. Though I'm starting nights tonight, so now she'll probably get to run around the site more often.

But I didn't realize how much more she loved humans then other dogs, until after a couple months without a dog park trip. She will introduce herself to almost every person there before playing with the other dogs.

I think if a baby cries on a flight, smokers should be given a mulligan. Or at least a free shot on the house.

Right on the money. I've trained several to Utility Dog and a couple to Utility Dog Excellent levels, and I wouldnt even bring one of them on a plane.

Are you serious !?!?!?

Trapped in a very small space and attacked by a fifty pound dog you would be screwed big time

I hope you were being sarcastic but did not read that way

You can expect to see more of these incidents as dogophile snowflakes who can not stand to be separated from their "children" take advantage of the PC BS and pass their pets off as emotional support animal

Think I'll take my 15 foot Rock Python on board my next delta flight under this premise and hope we will be seated next to you and the owner of an emotional support poodle in case Rocky needs a snack !

So dogs make you nervous?

No, dogs don't make me nervous. I don't like being around untrained dogs with owners I don't know. It's similar to the reason I don't force people to be around my dogs in places people might not want to be around a strange dog. Too bad there are so few people left who understand that concept.

If dogs made me nervous, I don't think I'd have spent years and years training dogs and competing in obedience trials with them.

Per that Cox commercial, they call them "fur babies". Makes me want to scream.

Myself, I want a comfort pony named Warren. I'd feed him oats and carrots and take him everywhere.

"Service Dogs"

They are not even close to a service dog, service dogs cost thousands and require very specific training and family placement (We almost got one for our oldest son and we have a nephew that has one).

You can buy an ESD vest from Amazon and pay a small fee.

Let me just throw this out there, just because someone is a combat veteran doesn't mean they can fight. I'm with Curmudgeon.

I'd guess most people who claim they have emotional support dogs are carrying around the family mutt.

My niece flipped out on a plane, so my sister bought drinks for everyone around them.

Right, because those with severe dog allergies should have their health risked for some pussy's pathetic emotional fragility?

Because putting animals in a giant pressurized box, which is confusing and stressful as shite --- is a GOOD frickING IDEA.

Just ask this guy who is now maimed for fricking life.

Dogs have died flying in the cargo hold, so I understand people wanting their dog in the cabin, but if they aren't in a kennel they need to be muzzled.

I was at Epcot yesterday and saw a woman walking around with a chow on a leash. I told my wife that if that dog bites anyone Disney is going to have to pay big bucks.
