Does your family reuse wash cloths and bath towels?

Growing up I knew several families who all bath with the same wash cloth for the night. A bath towel was also hung outside the shower and dried to be used the next day.

Always found this weird, but also seems like a thing of the past.

I could understand the towels, you could probably reuse it a couple times. Reusing/sharing a wash cloth is disgusting

Reusing a towel to dry off with is acceptable for two or three days since you’re using it to dry your already clean body with. A bath rag to actually clean yourself with should never be reused.

I use the same towel 2 or 3 times. But washcloths? That's gross especially if you actually do man work and don't sit behind a desk all day.

I'll use the same towel as my wife sometimes. Usually get a clean wash cloth.

Swap out towels once a week. Reuse wash cloth for a few days. I put soap on it, so is it actually dirty?

Using a wash cloth at all seems strange to me, just rub the bar of soap on your skin. I reuse a towel for 3ish days, but it takes a good 12hrs to air dry and can get mildewy. I’m tired of washing towels and they always end up stained. I am ready to get one of these Amazon and move into the future.

I’ll reuse a wash rag to clean my arse after a dump.

No way in hell using it for another showering.

We all shared the same bar of soap but a diff wash cloth.

But what were you going to do back then as a kid? Go buy your own soap to hide?

I like the rag to get a little scrub on. Can’t really get that just rubbing yourself with soap.
