I am just wondering if I could get that astroid into my bladder, if I could pee it out from there?
Yea it will come out. I've passed 13 or 14 and I've only had 1 that hurt coming out. It was 4mm though. It hurt for a few minutes, went to the bar, did shots, felt ok. I did piss blood for a few days though.
Drink beer and water. Beer will numb you and make you piss.
If you're sure it's in your bladder, maybe call your doctor and ask them if it's ok to try and pass it. 8mm might hurt you coming out though. Not pain but something internally. Or it might not fit and get stuck

You don't. It's GOTTA come out. Just save a pain pill or two for that office visit.

I had one in 2008 and was by far the worst pain I've ever felt.
My neighbor had one recently and he was told he'd have to pass it and he was worried about not noticing if he passed it or not. I told him you're going to notice a rock coming out of your dick

Drink a good bit of water each day and avoid soft drinks.

Yeah he said he may or may not have to leave a stent in. Said if he does it will have a string on it so it can be removed easily. Said I could do it myself after a couple of shots of bourbon and a couple of pain killers :-)

My urologist recommended lots of lemonade. The real fresh squeezed kind, not that powdered stuff in a can. He said the citric acid helps prevent the stones from forming in the kidneys.
I passed a 4mm stone last year, I've never felt pain like that in my life! Anytime I come across fresh squeezed lemonade, I'll get a couple glasses.

I passed a 6 mm in 1998..remember it vividly. Two lithotripsy's did not break it up. FWIW, the passing out of my body part did not hurt, just every millimeter it took to get there. Good luck.

Has never worked for me...but some believe in it. Cant hurt to try it.
Good luck from someone who has multiple lithos and scopes. Also passed a couple hundred stones in my lifetime.
FWIW, the lithos are great but I always wanted to start crying when it was time to relieve myself following. You have so many fragments you feel like you are pissing slag rocks for a couple days following.

This.
To others this does not seem possible but it is the truth.

Done beleive this bullshite. I had a stent in my kidney last month and was told it could easliy be removed in the office and there was no freaking way that was possible. They put me under to remove it.

Yes, the asparagus makes your piss smell so bad the kidney stone has to gtfo.

That's good to hear. I drink a 10 oz. cocktail of water, 1 tablespoon fresh squeezed lemon and lime juice, 1 tablespoon Bragg's apple cider vinegar, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and 2 tablespoons of Stevia extract 3 times a day. That combined with no family history of stones hopefully will spare me of this one of the worst of my nightmares.

Nothing to except that asparagus tastes awesome.
And I hope I never get a kidney stone.

Change your diet in a way that sucks and stop drinking tea and sodas.
Look up diets that cut out oxalates and uric acid.
If you ever get a stone and collect it they can analyze it and tell you what not to do.
Mine are so small I have yet to collect one. Doctor told me to drink at least 100 oz of water a day and try to eat a vegetarian diet. Fish and chicken ok but stay away from the pork and red meat.

How does that concoction taste? It looks like a good source of citric acid.

Drinking Coke is a triggering factor for stones in many individuals

It tastes damn good. I shake it to keep the cinnamon evenly distributed in the liquid.
I really like it and drink it within an hour before meals.
Since I'm in training and gave up alcohol but love a bloody mary I substitute Bragg's ACV for vodka. That's good as well.

Had my first in January. My doc said cirtus every day is the best form of prevention.
I read a good bit and never heard of this coke/asparagus business.
