In simple terms humans have basic animal characteristics

When peaceful religion boundries are absent and law boundries are not enforced people will trend towards these basic animal characteristics

You know what freaked me out more than it should have? Watching the War of the Worlds re-make with Tom Cruise. The scenes of mass panic and desperation in that movie made me realize "holy shite...this is what it would really be like if something devastating happened."

Religious boundaries are a huge part of the problem. They separate and divide people based on a bullshite worldview that is nonexistent. They help perpetuate the divide and conquer tactic that works so well on the willfully ignorant.
