I know it's not cheap from the Ole Miss banner plane thread. Every day on my commute i see the Chopin plane.

Here’s my take.
When you make a custom banner (about 7k), you own it.
From there on, you are just paying for flight time.
There are a lot of young commercial pilots looking for flight time. They work cheap.
A Cessna 182 rents for about $250 an hour wet. You could probably do better than that if you buy time in bulk.
If you own the 182, you could get that cost down to $175 an hour, maybe lower. That calculation gets more nuanced because you have to overhaul ($40 to 50k) every 2000 hours.
I could run the numbers, but it’s probably on par with a significant billboard campaign.
Now I want to start a GoFundMe and buy a TigerRant 182! I already have my license and could fly it for free.
Please don’t tell my wife that I’d even consider this!
TLDR: It’s cheaper than you think, and I may now buy a plane.

I got a PP. Banner towing isn't really that easy. You have to learn some quirks. I struggle in stimulation catching the banner. I couldn't imagine irl. Though since slower is better. A $200k used 182 isn't needed a $30k used 150 would be plenty.

I’d worry about the 150 being able to climb out on hot days. And there might be engine cooling issues at slow speeds and high angle of attack.
Maybe a SuperCub?

Probably have a standing agreement that if the company has no one willing to pay full price for a banner, Chopin will fly theirs for a discount just to keep the planes flying.
Lots of billboard companies work out deals like that.
