I’ve never seen so many brown, racially ambiguous people begging on street corners in my life. Is this a new thing?

Pretty much.

They look like the Marlboro Man’s saddlebags.

Every time I read the word gypsy, my mind goes to singing the Fleetwood Mac song

We definitely have a homeless problem. They were a fairly rare sight when I was growing up around here. They are at every major intersection these days.

Maybe there are in areas I don't go in, but I don't ever recall seeing gypys. Well, not like on a regular basis or anything.

They were in New Orleans a few weeks ago. Our regular homeless cleared out of their way.

Rode with us to Memphis, and Papa would have shot him if he knew what he’d done.

Adds up.

Try leaving the state. It’s a massive problem in cities all over the country. Especially California.

Democrat mayors all must have gotten the same instructions: Do nothing about the homeless problem.

I think technically what they are known as here are Irish travelers but we all refer to them as the gypsies. Run all kinds of local scams

Do they have kids in tow while running their panhandling scam? They always have some kids with them.
