Okay. Maybe I am confusing Mudbugs with the Hired Hand Saloon. That was a long time ago.

I remember the place on the West Bank that was in an old converted wal mart type of place that was always packed.

There was one on Belle Chasse Hwy back in the 60s and 70s, I can't think of the name though...

Denim and Diamonds was in the Galleria in Metairie at Causeway South…..and definitely not in the 70’s.

Giant statue of a man outside holding a muffler. Bartender named Perky. Kathleen lead singer in Evangeline every Saturday night.
Making it back across the bridge to Metairie on Sunday morning was rough!

Saw 38 Special there. They also eventually opened a Mudbugs in Kenner on Williams Blvd near where Autozone is before West Esplanade.

I saw Great White there. This was before they burned that place down in Rhode Island killing all those people. It could have been me.

Harry Lee’s place, Hired Hand Saloon, was in Elmwood on the Eastbank. It was Mudbugs that was in the old Zayer’s next to Nicholson and Loup grocery store.
