Does Anyone On The Board Listen To Michael Savage?

He used to be on AM radio locally, and I was a regular listener. But after his 'kill all the Muslims' rant the station switched to Levin.

I never heard about this...

Haven't in a long time. Used to listen when he was on local drive time radio. He could be interesting and cover a lot of topics with funny or unusual stories when he was in the free-flowing conversation mode.

Did not care for his scripted or pre-recorded rants that started taking up more of the show.

He owned me when he was talking about growing up poor. The house floor was not level and when the dog peed on the linoleum in the living room, it rolled all the way to the kitchen! Ha

Used to love him on AM. Started listening again on his podcast, but he started going bull goose loonie feuding with Mark Levin and other conservative voices. Had to turn him off.

I think this is part of the reason I like him..

Yes. 2:06:30pm Central Time via KSFO stream. If a guest host is on**, stream gets turned off at 2:06:31 and I find some local music to fill the rest of my day.

**Which happens a lot these days. It appears that Savage finally had a heart issue recently, the possibility of which he has been kvetching about for years.

And regarding his putting competing radio-talk shows on blast, that's simply a New York radio thing. I find it charming.

Way back when I first started listening to him, he was the only political show I would listen to. I'd listen to sports radio and Michael Savage, him being an independent conservative is what made me start listening. I consider myself independent and depending on the issue determines whether I am more conservative or more liberal (I hate using that word because I think there are different levels of conservative, but when I think liberal I think extreme)..

But now he has that old man factor. One day last week he was complaining because he went to the store and he and most people were wearing mask but went off on the few people who didn't. In the episode today he was talking about people wearing mask and that the people who do it let the government control them..

Then he was talking about some doctor who said something he thought was insane and he kept saying something the doctor said that pissed him off. He had the guy who produces his show run the clip of what the doctor said and he didn't say exactly what Savage said that he said, but after the clip played Savage was all like "You heard it! he said ______________" and the main part he was focusing on was the part that wasn't said.

He mentioned that today.

He was talking about the whole Trump saying he takes Hydroxychloroquine thing. He was saying that it was some scam doctor in the orthodox jewish community (who also scammed people in that community) who started the whole think about it being used to treat COVID-19 and people within the orthodox jewish community started taking it and it killed several people because it isn't good for people with heart condition.

Supposedly someone on Trump's staff leaked that Trump has some heart condition as well so he was going on about how he hopes Trump is just saying he is taking it and not actually doing it because it could do more harm to him than help.

One of the few mainstream radio guys who blasted the Clinton administration for intervening in the Yugoslav Wars in Bosnia and Kosovo against the Serbians.
