Meditation isn't the sole domain of eastern religions. The Bible says to meditate on God's word.

In 16 years all my kids will be out the house.

Then it will be quiet enough for me to meditate

Not really, but I did a yoga class about a year ago that ended with about 10 minutes of 'meditation'. The instructor was talking softly about concentrating on breathing and the usual stuff.

Even though I didn't feel stressed at all that day before the class, I felt very relaxed after and throughout the rest of the day. It may have been the most peaceful feeling I've had in years. Maybe I'll try that again soon.

It's bad enough that you english majors have to execute everyone for their grammar mistakes but you can't even let the six year olds slide. I fell like you could use some meditation.

Fortune 500 CEO's who swear by meditation

I meditate everyday, twice a day. Unbounded awareness, focus and flexibility are the keys to success in all areas of life. It works.
