Had a RB on my high school team that got the name “Gone” in the 10th grade. We were playing on the road against an all brotha team that had a PA announcer that forgot to take his finger off the mic when our RB broke the line of scrimmage and took it 70 yards for a TD.
As soon as he broke the line the PA announcer said “shite, that N word gone!!! on a hot mic.
