I actually enjoy my work to the point that the day doesn't drag, I'm engaged while here, and I don't dread getting up in the morning.

That said, would I quit tomorrow if I was financially able to? You're good damned right I would.

I loved being an MP and then a criminal investigator.

But retirement is even better.

No. That's why they have to pay me to do it.

I like my job. It's intellectually challenging and my pay and benefits are good. It's still a job, however, and some days I'd rather be on the golf course drinking beers on a Tuesday afternoon

I genuinely enjoy waking up knowing I don't have to drag myself into a law firm and bill hours every day since I left law firm life 6 years ago

I rather be doing something that impacts more people in a positive way but haven't achieved that yet. I can't base my like of a job on coworkers because I'm a people person and I always enjoy those I work around. I rather be doing something more fulfilling.

Most of my coworkers are cool. A couple can be a bit grumpy at times but it's temporary. It's a very relaxed place.

I like my job, but I’m at a dead end with not a lot of hope of moving up or earning more money. I do like that my tasks are most of the time different from day to day so I don’t end up bored doing the same shite over and over.

I don't hate my job. I've been in some very crappy jobs so I'm thankful to have a good boss at a good company.

I do, however, hate working on a lot of days.

Love my profession and love where I work.

Boss is awesome and pretty much lets me do my own thing. Work from home when I need to. Unlimited sick days.

Granted in my line of work I pretty much dictate my salary and working conditions because there's such a shortage of people with my skill set.
