Does the FIL count? If so, yes.

I have an older half sister that the rest of us have a hard time believing is related to us in any way at all.

kinda
my father and his brother, always at each other
they had a big blowup when I was 9 and haven't seen my cousins since!
of course, I sided with my father, til one day, Mom dropped this on me
one day, while visiting them in pennsylvania us illinois, my uncle offered to go get Hoagies
and my father chimes in with, "Hoagies are for gluttons " !!!
that changed my perspective, and so I thought, if those are typical comments from Dad, then no wonder my Uncle got ticked off at him.
what I don't know and never will, was this intentional to get a rise out of Uncle or not?!
Dad did think outside the box, but I'm thinkin
they just never outgrew the sibling rivalry of youth...

The day my mother-in-law croaks over will be remembered as a personal holiday.

Yeah, an older brother. fricker ought to be dead in roughly three years, so my final years will be peaceful ones.

My sister is a super left wing, hipster, know it all that cry's if she hears a racial slur.
Let's just say we don't get along too well.

My sister in law. Total drug head. Crack, meth, pills, whatever she can get her hands on. She has been pulled out of crack houses, traded vehicles for drugs, lived with a guy who set their house on fire and molested her daughter, the list goes on. She had bled her parents dry, no one invites them anywhere because of her shiat, pumps out babies so the parents let her live there for free, accelerated my Father In Laws cancer until he passed away, had shots fired into their house, had one kid taken away so she had another one, and so on. Oh, and now she has her oldest daughter(the one that got molested) addicted and just like her. We don't have anything to do with them obviously but she could die a thousand deaths and it wouldn't be enough for what she put all of them through.
TL;DR....My sis in law. Imagine a white trash version of "Intervention" but times 1000.
ETA...My wife and her other sister tried to get her on Intervention but even they didn't want to touch that.

It just might be sibling rivalry in which their personalities allowed it to get out of hand.

I have quite a few actually. My father died 18 years ago so thank God I don't ever have to associate with anyone on that side that I don't like because I could never stand any of them besides one cousin. On my mothers side I am not big fans of most of them because they are just beyond religious and its all they talk about but I can still be around them for a few hours.
Posted on 3/25/16 at 2:04 pm to OweO
yes, literally everyone on my Mothers side
I have NOTHING to do with them, majority are hoosiers, derelicts, or habitual liars.

Nope. I've been pretty lucky in that area.
