I don't have this issue with my SO, but it never fails every time I call my mother, she doesn't answer. She doesn't work and rarely leaves the house, so it isn't a being occupied thing necessarily. Us not answering the phone when we were teenagers was a punishable offense too.

That never happened until all the robocalls began. She keeps her ringer off and checks it to see if anyone called recently

My issue is the polar opposite. I wish my Wife would lose her phone.
Anytime she goes to the store, even if it’s for a single item, she’ll call me like 5+ times to ask some bullshite question. The importance of whatever I’m working on at the time seems to be directly correlated to the number of calls I get in a 15 min timespan.

My wife doesn’t charge get phone at night. We will wake up and she’s on 5% battery.

I rarely pick up incoming calls. I tell everyone who b!tches that my phone is only for outgoing not incoming.

I paid a tree man a hefty deposit before IDA. He never showed up. He quit answering my phone calls.
