I was pissed about 15 years ago when watching one of the “new” scooby doo movies with my kids and the monster turned out to be a monster. WTF?!? Part of the identity of the show was that the “monster” was a run of the mill bad guy in a disguise. It was all rational (well, rational compared to monsters and ghosts). Then they had to go and ruin it with the addition of supernatural elements. If you can’t tell I’m still a little bitter over the whole thing.
