I think they were talking about those crystal rock things from the 70's or 80's.

Have they come back in fashion?

My wife is crunchy. She has this deodorant shaped rock she wets and uses under her pits. I've used it a couple of times when I've ran out and it seems to control odor, but not so much on the anti-perspirant. But really, if you shower everyday, you won't smell unless you sweat a ton.

I had a boss for 20 years that was "allergic" to deodorant. It was a smelly job.
