re: Does anyone else find this troubling?

So let me get this straight... they ordered a pizza... it was $12. Some schmuck collected $20 from multiple people and then paid the driver the $20. He went back and the group of people asked for change and he said, "Oh, I gave it all to the driver"... they called the pizza shop and made the driver return and give the $8 change... filmed it, berated him, and then posted it online?
frick them... they deserve everything they're getting.
I repeat, frick them.

No I do not find it troubling. The owner employed all of these people and every single one is a HUGE piece of shite. frick them all.

Besides if they paid the kid in 5s and 1s. Why not just give him $12 if you didn't want to tip the kid unless they're too damn stupid to count to $12.
Oh yeah. There's no doubt that the people paying for pizza are fricking morons. The delivery driver made the absolute correct assumption. When I give a bar tender, server, whoever more money than they tell me I owe in small denominations like that when closer change is possible, I expect them to assume that it's their tip. Because that's the only logical conclusion.
The question is if it's the employees' or the actual dealership that's responsible and should be punished. I can kind of see both ways. It was the dealership who hired those frick heads after all.

Link to their yelp?
Posted on 1/14/15 at 4:09 pm to yankeeundercover
I would have covered the tip and given everyone else whatever money they "lost".
I hope they go out of business.

my opinion of car dealerships hasn't changed...not even surprised

Was my synopsis accurate? Basically, the 'group mentality' of those feeling slighted for "overpaying" for pizza cause this whole thing to transpire?

Right. People are really outraged at used car salesmen doing something scuzzy?

The part where they decided to post this online is the most puzzling thing. Why? What good was going to come of it?

Looks to me that the bald dude is the guy in charge if not the owner himself.

Killed a used car dealer's rep?

The bald dude is the owner, and You may want to pull down the link the their yelp due to some of the photos.

The bill was $42 and they gave him two 20's and two 5's. The extra 5 is pretty much understood by every service industry person ever as a tip.
It's what the driver asked them: Why did you give me an extra 5?
This is a great life lesson and they deserve it.

Then this incident is karma. They were shitty and ridiculous to the driver...let the internet be shitty back to them tenfold.
This is barely SJW work....it's revenge porn if anything.
edit: What's with not tipping the gdamn delivery driver too? Scumbags.

Why do stupid, oafish bullies post anything online? Because they're stupid and oafish. It always backfires on them, but they keep doing it.
ETA: And I guarantee they've missed the point entirely and are feeling that they're the real victims in all this.

This is just amazing to me. What reality are they in where the driver is in the wrong?
It'll blow over soon enough for those morons.

These guys were shitheads and I wouldn't want to business with that type of person. I doubt they suffer that much because of this though. There are still plenty of people who have to use these type places because their credit is shot and they aren't the type who get on yelp.

That pic from Elsa F literally almost made me puke!

ETA: it is pic #7 if anyone thinks they can look at it and not gag
