I did the one in 98 at Gettysburg and it was awesome. Reenacting is really a good time and I’ve been all over the South doing them, battle of Decatur is a pretty good one as well. I was in a group and for the most part fought as the 10th Indiana cavalry.

We have some family that are really into this kind of stuff, so we go watch every now and then.
I wouldn’t enjoy killing my own kin, but I’d sign up for a WW2 or War on Terror re-enactment if the UN could set that up.

I grew up re-enacting, It was a blast. I was interviewed on CNN, for a big TN event. Selma and Oak Alley were my favorites.
