Like GTFO. Unless you are family or a very close friend, I don't want my page spammed with your shite

Even worse are the thirst traps on Instagram. I got so annoyed with it that I just deleted the account.

Why do you have Facebook connections with people that are not family or very close friends?

If you follow a page, like "Liverpool FC" you start getting spammed with follow requests for spammy accounts/groups created with fake player names, etc.

I mean there are people I know from high school, college, etc that I don't consider "close friends".

Everyone I went to school with is now either a roofer, realtor or has a photography business.

Depends. My friends and buddies have restaurants, media pages, and businesses that I follow and reshare sometimes.

Don't even have a Facebook account or whatever you call it when you belong to that silly crap.

I decided a long time ago it would not be part of my life when I started hearing about people posting pics of their breakfast they were eating at some greasy spoon diner or pics of their dogs in a dog park.

I DON'T CARE about your daily life enough to want to know the above things.

NOW, get off my lawn...............

I got no problem with that at all, it's the folks who post the socio/political stuff non-stop that make it irritating to me.

I have two girls I used to work with 30 years ago and they well know each other, one goes on non-stop anti-Trump rants and the other Non-stop Trump pimping/Anti-Lib rants. They never directly address each other but I'm certain their dissertations are to be seen by the other.

It's gotten way worse with the ease at which people get butt-hurt over the least little things and are willing to rant and rave about it, no matter how ridiculous they come off to others.

I get enough of that political crap from the older, blue haired women in our extended family. Trump winning again sent some of them way off the deep end of reality.

It's annoying and funny at the same time listening to them melt.
