Does Airline Highway going from BR to Prairieville have the worst traffic in the state….

No, that would be any road leading into Livingston Parish at those times.
Have you tried taking Old Jefferson into the AP? I find my afternoon drive shorter when I take that road.

Traffic in all of Baton Rouge is terrible everyday
I-10 W between 7-9:30 is always shite
I-10 E starting at around 2:30 is shite
2:30!!! Why is it so terrible when kids aren’t out of school and people should be at work?!??
And airline and all the roads leading to the interstates are all backed up

It’s not usually women on the roads at the times I mentioned

BR traffic is up there with the worst traffic in the southeast.

When I was living there I would always notice tons of Texas plates in the spring and summer clogging up the roads. They travel through BR to get to the beach or wherever because its the only way. Trust me they wish they could avoid it

When is shift change at the various hospitals? 2-3PM?

I’d wager that 80% of the traffic on airline is turning left onto Hwy 42 and most of that traffic is heading towards LP.
Just sucks that there is nothing that can be done to alleviate traffic in Prairieville for us that live here.

I agree, luckily I’m just right near the corner of 42 and airline. Also, I come from BR and the only traffic I really get into is between bayou manchac and Perkins rd by the Walmart. Gotta know the backroads
