Can they add some sound to make the car sound powerful? I thought that was the main draw?

Ford already popped the “fake noise” cherry with the mustang 4 cylinder turbo. It pipes in engine sounds to the cabin to make you think you’re not driving a 4 cylinder.

At one point they were piping V8 sounds into Eco-boost F150 cabins.
Don't know if that's still a thing. But it's stupid. Plastic oil pans and plugs? Ford is dead to me.

My brother has a 2022 Mustang GT with manual transmission. The sound it makes running through the gears at high rpm is glorious, especially downshifting. I don’t know how that can be realistically synthesized.

The good news is sales will diminish rather quickly and Dodge/ Chrysler will end up scrapping this effort just like Ford, Mercedes Benz and other delusional auto manufacturers.
