What you want to bet he'll either be "retired" or just straight up replaced very soon by someone more in line with Obama's views?

He would go down in Marine Corps legends as a hero if he did that and encouraged all the officers who thought they couldn't protect their Marines any longer to resign their commissions as a result of this disastrous decision.

That won't happen, but I can have the same pipe dream.

That could happen. To be honest, I'm surprised he's not been axed already. I think the only thing that's saved him up until now is the fact it would be too obvious why he got the ax. Either way, I'm pretty sure soon he'll be gone and his replacement will be someone in lock-step with Obama's politics.

Of all the fricked up things Obama has done to this country in his time as POTUS, one of the most damaging is his purging of the leadership of all branches of our military. He's taken a page right out of Stalin's playbook.

I weight 195 lbs, 6'1" tall... I don't think I've met any woman who could carry, let alone drag my deadweight body out of danger.

Come to think of it, I doubt most of you assholes could either

Either way, I'm all for equal treatment/opportunity... And I'm not saying that they should do something else because this is "men's work"... I'm just being realistic.

I wonder how long before this order is rescinded...

I saw the fattest police officer I've ever seen the other night, it was a woman. I couldn't comprehend her being a police officer.

Could you imagine the SJW backlash? I can already imagine the headlines.

"The military already has our boys in war, now they want our precious little girls to fight for oil"

A friend of mine is a probation officer and she just got out of the hospital. I know they aren't the same as police officers, but the danger is still there.

He bullrushed her, slammed her head into the wall, gave her a concussion, broken ribs, and she torn a pectoral muscle trying to get away from him.

He would have killed her had not two male police officers tackle him. He tried to fight them off too. That ended up being a big mistake.

At the point of attack, women are at a huge disadvantage.

When I was in the Army as a U.S. Cavalryman, I would have objected to this. But now methinks if some chick can carry a 90lb ruck sack in full battle rattle up and down the expert course at ft knox on a 27 mi hike and not quit, she deserves the spot that you non serving douches wont fill in lieu of young $.

Nah.... They're doing a fine job.

quote:

The suspect who shot at three cops in the Gloucester Township police station early Friday morning before being killed was being processed by a rookie female cop and overpowered her, taking her gun, according to NBC 10.

They do even better when paired together with other females...
quote:

Officer Renee-Maria Sampson and her partner Temeisha Hoyte, both four-year NYPD vets, were patrolling a building in the Lillian Wald Houses on the lower East Side on Nov. 23 when they spotted Pedro Urena holding a lit joint, authorities said.

The cops called for backup, but before other officers arrived, Urena attacked, punching them both and slamming them against a wall, according to a complaint.

Next, he grabbed each cop by the neck and tried to choke the life out of them, according to police and a criminal complaint.

“At one point, Urena takes them and hits their heads together,” added one source. “Then he tried to drag both cops into his apartment.”

Backup officers arrived just in time, and Urena was arrested.

LINK

There's case after case of how they're up for the job. Maybe even better than any male cops out there....
quote:

A vagrant wanted for questioning in a rape overpowered a 24-year-old police officer who was trying to handcuff him, then shot her to death with her own weapon Monday, police said.

So yeah, let's go ahead and put them in combat arms MOS's. What's the worst that could happen?

Hell, I went up and down them in the summer of 1988. I can still close my eyes and see them clear as can be.

I have known plenty of guys in the service that couldn't carry a 195 lb guy, women shouldn't be in combat roles, but the physical strength aspect is probably a flawed argument.

Summer of 97 for me. Hot as Africa, but still a beautiful part of our great country.
